Jacquelyn and Christian exchanged their vows on New Year’s Eve, 2021, after 15 years together! The couple, who are high school sweethearts, were so ready to become husband and wife that not even COVID could stop them. Although there were planning challenges along the way, they handled every setback with grace. Ultimately, Laura Olsen Events decided to split their wedding day at Langdon Hall into multiple experiences to accommodate all their loved ones amid guest count restrictions. An outdoor ceremony with all 130 guests followed an intimate, 50-person luncheon and preceded dinner and cocktails with 80 select guests.

Despite the changes made to the timeline, the day was still perfect! Laura Olsen Events took the reins on planning and design while LPE lead the event management on the day. Drama and contrast were present throughout the design elements from the day, from the bride and groom’s attire to the black table linens and white walls in their reception space. However, the design wasn’t without a pop of colour from the organic floral elements by Patchouli! Loosely arranged garlands of pink, coral, ivory, and burgundy blossoms brought vibrance and whimsy to the tablescapes.
