NIAGARA ON THE LAKE, WEDDING INSPIRATION

With an emphasis on soft, muted colours and organic florals, this branding session for Lindsay Plank Events beckons the whimsical and romantic couple. As a wedding planner and designer, I gravitate toward outdoor celebrations with a light and airy feel. Although it took place indoors, this Niagara-on-the-Lake session encompassed almost every element of my ideal wedding design! I worked with a white and sage colour palette with a hint of blush to design a grounded yet elegant tablescape. The modern sage dinnerware layered with blush napkins popped against the white linen tablecloth, while gold flatware enhanced the muted tones.

My designs also emphasize florals, and Kendon Design Co. delivered! Her centerpieces highlighted the flowers’ organic shapes and textures to generate the atmosphere of an outdoor garden party. A ceramic vase with loosely arranged sweet peas, gypsophila, and garden roses in an all-white color palette stole the show as the primary centerpiece. Meanwhile, glass bud vases on either side showcased delicate ivory florets and added a touch of whimsy.
